Unlike most turbocharged engines, this V8 is engineered to rev to a whopping 10,000 rpm, delivering a character that feels far more exotic than traditional forced-induction powerplants. Instant electric torque fills in the gaps while the twin turbos build boost, creating relentless acceleration from any speed. Power is sent to all four wheels through an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, allowing the Temerario to launch from 0-60 mph in under 2.7 seconds. The chassis has been completely redesigned around this new hybrid architecture. An advanced aluminum spaceframe provides increased rigidity while helping keep weight under control, and the electric motors contribute not only to power but also to handling performance through sophisticated torque vectoring.
