Power comes from a hand-built 5.5-liter twin-turbocharged LT7 flat-plane-crank V8 producing 1,064 horsepower, paired with a front electric motor for a combined output of 1,250 horsepower. Power is sent to all four wheels through an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission and an advanced electrified AWD system. The result is unheard of acceleration, with Chevrolet estimating 0-60 mph in under 2 seconds and a quarter-mile time under 9 seconds. The chassis is every bit as advanced as the powertrain. Building on the mid-engine architecture introduced with the C8, the ZR1X combines lessons from the Z06, E-Ray, and ZR1 into a single package. The front electric drive unit not only adds power but also enhances cornering performance through torque management and instant response. Massive carbon-ceramic brakes, magnetic ride control, and track-focused aero allow the ZR1X to generate extraordinary levels of grip and stability.
