Built on the new S650 Mustang platform, the Super Snake pushes the traditional muscle car formula to supercar levels of performance while maintaining the aggressive styling and raw American character the Mustang name is known for. Under the hood of the Super Snake is a supercharged 5.0-liter Coyote V8 producing over 830 horsepower, thanks to a Whipple supercharger system and extensive cooling upgrades. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission, delivering explosive acceleration and straight-line performance. The chassis and suspension are heavily modified to improve handling and stability as well. Included are a Shelby performance suspension system, upgraded brake rotors, and lightweight forged magnesium wheels that improve acceleration, braking, and cornering response. Visually, the Super Snake looks far more aggressive than a standard Mustang. It features a widebody kit with carbon fiber fenders, a redesigned front fascia, front splitter, side skirts, rear diffuser, and rear wing, along with signature Shelby striping and badging. Inside, the cabin receives Shelby-specific upgrades including unique interior trim, serialized dash/engine plaques, re-upholstered seats, and Shelby badging throughout. Each car is serialized and produced in limited numbers, making it more of a collector car than a mass-produced performance vehicle. The 2025 Shelby Super Snake represents the modern peak of traditional American muscle––huge power, rear-wheel drive, aggressive styling, and a production limited to just 300 units for the United States.
